BAND CAMP INFORMATION PAGE 2006-2007

Please look over this page carefully and make your preparations early. There is a list of required equipment for each instrumental area. Please make sure that you have all required items prior to the first day of camp.

FORM PURPOSE
Marching Band Safety HAND-OUT This has all the information regarding student responsibilities for marching rehearsals and covers our safety precautions for inclement weather.
Marching Band Check List This has the information regarding equipment and required items for marching rehearsals. There are times and contact information.
Medical Treatment Form (.PDF)     This form is Mandatory, it allows for any emergency service to treat your student in case of injury or illness.
2005 Band Camp Information (.PDF) Summer band camp dates, times, information, and first day checklist.
Field Trip/Activities Permission Form This form must be completed and turned in so your child may travel with the band. This form covers ALL activities.

Field Trip Vehicle Information

If you plan on transporting ANY students, you are required by the State of Florida to fill out this form and attach all relevant information.

Physical Education Through Marching Band Request Form
This form is required in order to receive the 1/2 PE credit from Marching Band participation.
Volunteer Registration Form This form is required for anyone who will volunteer for the band or the school.

One set of Mallets will be provided for each Front Ensemble instrument at the beginning of the year. It is the students' responsibility to purchase their own mallets and sticks throughout the year. Each percussionist is expected to have a complete set of required sticks and mallets. Equipment that is damaged due to misconduct or neglect will be repaired and or replaced at the expense of the student.
