Marching Band earns Superior Ratings
The Dunedin High School Scottish Highlander Marching Band Received Superior Ratings at the 2006 Florida Bandmasters Association Music Performance Assessment.

 

East Lake Invitational
The Dunedin High School Scottish Highlander Marching Band received 3rd Place in Division 3A at the East Lake Invitational
Their Final score was 66.86

 

Tarpon Springs Outdoor Music Festival

The Dunedin High School Scottish Highlander Band received 2nd Place in division 2A in addition to earning awards for:

SYMPHONIC BAND AT STATE

The Symphonic Band earned Straight Good Ratings at the 2006 FBA State MPA. This is the first time that the Symphonic Band has ever gone to the State MPA. Congrats to all the students and thank you to all the parents who chaperoned,

 

STATE FBA

SYMPHONIC BAND IS GOING TO STATE!
The Symphonic Band is going to State FBA MPA on April 26th. The Location is Vero Beach High School. We will be leaving DHS at 5:30AM and returning around 8 or 9PM.

We are looking for chaperons to accompany the students on the trip. Please contact Mr. Dykes if you would like to attend.

GRADE 3 PIPE BAND 1st Place at Dunedin

The Grade 3 Pipe Band received 1st Place and the Sterling Award at the 40th Annual Dunedin Highland Games.

 

SUPERIOR BAND

STRAIGHT SUPERIORS
The Symphonic Band earned STRAIGHT SUPERIOR RATINGS at the 2006 District 9 FBA MPA.

Concert Band earns Straight Excellent Ratings at FBA MPA.

 

100% FBA SUPERIORS

All of the DHS students participating in the FBA Solo and Ensemble Assessment earned Superior Ratings. That is a total of 12 SUPERIOR Medals for the Clarinet Choir, Clarinet Solo, and Bassoon Solo.

Congrats to the Concert Band for earning Straight Excellent ratings at the 2005 District 9 FBA MPA. This was a huge improvement from the previous year!

Congrats to Chelsea Howell, Alyssa Nichol, Toni Panageotorus, and Bryan McCain for participating in FBA S&E on Saturday.
